APPLE PIE RECIPIE

Ingredients: Pie Dough

  1. 1 1/4 Cups Of Flour
  2. 1/4 Tbsp Of Sugar
  3. 1/4 Tsp Of Salt
  4. 8 Tbsp Unsalted Butter ( 1 stick )
  5. 3 Tbsp Of Cold Ice Water

Ingredients: Filling

  1. 8 Tbsp Unsalted Butter ( 1 stick )
  2. 3 Tbsp Flour
  3. 3/4 Cups Of Sugar
  4. 1/4 Cup Of Water
  5. 6~7 Granny Smith Apples

Process: Pie Dough

  1. Dice the butter into 1 cubic inch squares
  2. Put the Flour, Sugar, Salt and Butter into a food processor or blender
  3. Blend
  4. Then Add Ice Water
  5. Blend Again
  6. Take Out Of Blender And Knead For ~3 min
  7. Wrap in Cling Wrap and Put in Fridge
  8. Repeat this process twice.

Process: Filling

  1. Melt Butter in Medium Saucepan
  2. Reduce heat to simmer
  3. Add in flour
  4. Stir Constantly for ~1 min
  5. Add in Sugar and Water
  6. Stir Constantly for ~ 1 min
  7. Turn heat to medium and stir for 3 min
  8. Take off heat and let cool
  9. Peel Apples
  10. Core the apples
  11. Slice into thin pieces
  12. Mix apples with sauce.

Construction: Apple Pie

  1. Roll out the first dough ball into an 12 inch circle
  2. Place on top of pie plate
  3. Add all of the apples
  4. Roll out second dough ball into an 11 inch circle
  5. Either place it on top as is and cut slits in any design
  6. Or make 7 slices into the dough
  7. Then lay out 3 pieces of dough vertically across the pie
  8. and 4 horizontally across the pie
  9. then lace them together in a weaving pattern

Baking: Apple Pie

  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit or 218 degrees Celsius
  2. Bake pie for 15 minutes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit
  3. Lower temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 177 degrees Celsius
  4. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes
